Tangible CNC explores how to close the gap between digital control and physical making by putting the machine’s logic into the user’s hands. Rather than driving a CNC machine through abstract G-code and on-screen toolpaths, the project investigates tangible interfaces in which makers specify operations by manipulating physical blocks, bringing the digital and physical aspects of computer-controlled fabrication into the same workspace.
